I had a baby. Well, not me, my wife. And then we did it again, but decided to change genders just for fun. And now? Well...apparently, we're doing it all over again.

Second Verse, Same as the First!

Well, faithful readers, I have returned. And with good reason-- Aidan is going to have a sister! She's due in February, and we're all pretty excited. So I'm going to crank up the presses again, and start telling the second chapter of the open-ended and epic Poor Child(ren) Chronicles.

Well, open-ended until the wife has me snipped, anyway.

A quick update-- Aidan is approaching two, and is walking, running, jumping (this last one with hilarious results...it's like watching a slightly drunken, incredibly happy monkey dance), and talking quite a bit now. It's a pretty good age to have a child at-- he's a ton of fun, with a great sense of comedic timing and punchline content that can't be matched. Should be interesting to see him learn about the baby, and interact once she gets here.... thus far, he's determined that her name be Maia, and that he's happy he's having a sister if asked.

Of course, if you ask him whether or not Serbia's political climate has been affected by the EU's policies and membership criteria, he will also answer in the affirmative. Which is, of course, ridiculous. Or not. Actually, I don't know either, but that's not the point. The point is that he's pretty smart, but anything he doesn't actually have an opinion on has a default answer of "Yes."

So stay tuned, all 3 of you who actually read this. I'll be checking in every week or so to chart Aidan and the baby's progress!
